Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a professional CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is the co-owner. Annie was the first woman who has won in the CrossFit Games twice. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir, an Icelandic weightlifter, is also a CrossFit athlete and a famous anchor on the media. Her fame was boosted by her being the first female to win been awarded two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. Her other accomplishments include having won in the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and raised up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and brothers. As a child, Annie was an avid sporting fan, and she loved exercising. She took home numerous awards during school competitions. In 2009, she was the first participant in the CrossFit competitions in California in which she did well in initial games. Annie Thorisdottir's age was 31 (as 2021). She is 5' 7 tall and weighs about 67 pounds. Annie began her CrossFit journey in 2009 in California. She performed very well in the initial competitions. She placed in the Top 10 among over 70. Although she did not win one of the championships but she did finish in the 11th-place finish. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. At the CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she came in second place, and also won a silver medal in the same year. Following that, she again participated in the CrossFit games and because of her dominating performance she won the competition and became the first female to win CrossFit Games. Annie became the very first woman who has ever won consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to her outstanding performance. In 2014, she received a gold medal. And in 2021, she was awarded with a bronze. Annie is now a trainer and coach for Crossfit Reykjavik, which she created. Annie, who is in high demand as an athlete appears in ads to promote sports products, like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration's sidekick Yerbae Renaissance Transparent Labs Periodization and others. She also has her own Youtube channel named "Annie", with over three thousand users. These include videos on eating habits for training and life with family.
